A fantastic value wine, the 2013 Soave Classico is 85% Garganega and 15% Trebbiano di Soave refined in cement tanks. The wine paints a very authentic portrait of Soave thanks to the drying mineral notes that give definition to ripe peach, pear and honeydew melon. The wine is crisp and smooth in texture.
This wine has never been better and represents superb value for money. Very pale in colour. The nose is zesty, fresh and grassy with a hint of honeysuckle and some flinty minerality. Clean, melony and lemony on the palate. A supple rounded texture combined with racy fresh acidity. Absolutely ready and irresistible now.
