The 2013 Polish Hill Riesling flaunts lovely lemongrass, lime leaves and orange blossom aromas highlighted by hints of crushed stones and white pepper. Light-bodied, dry and very tightly knit at this youthful stage, it has a very crisp acid line carrying the intense flavors through to a long finish. Drink it now to 2025+.
33rd vintage. Ripe, succulent, very very bright and compact fruit. Like an over-packed suitcase - the flavour is just waiting to burst out. Needs a good deal of time. A tangible, undeniable mineral character here - slate, granite.
