Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé 2004

Tasting Notes

**Note: all from younger vines Musigny**
The expressive and high-toned nose is quite ripe with absolutely no trace of herb or forest floor, running instead to ripe raspberry and cherry coulis and this sense of concentrated fruit essence continues onto the delicious, rich, complex and vibrant flavors that culminate in an energetic, fresh and driving finish. This is suffused by minerality and this coupled with the superb detail confers a precise but not austere character to the flavors and finish. A strikingly good effort for the vintage that is worth a look.
