A deft application of wood frames lovely aromas of mineral reduction, acacia blossom and soft citrus nuances. There is fine volume to the impressively well-detailed middle weight flavors that are delicious as well as solidly complex while offering fine length on the moderately dry and crisp finish. Lovely stuff with good development potential as well. Worth considering.
Tight, tense, very lemony nose with quite a bit of struck match. Much less rich than the Ballot Minot 2010 Perrières drunk a few nights ago at our Purple Paulée but admirably nervy and long. Seems as though it will have quite a long life. Very savoury, Very burgundian. Just the right side of austere. Drinks 2017 - 2027.
