Echézeaux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget 2013

Tasting Notes

**Note: from a total area of 1.06 ha with 60 to 65 year old vines in the climats of Les Treux and Cruots that have .63 ha and .43 ha, respectively**
Though the expressive nose is slightly riper, what it gains in ripeness it gives up in elegance with its spicy array of black berry fruit and floral aromas are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent volume to the concentrated and serious medium weight plus flavors that possess focused power on the tautly muscular, intense and palate coating finish. This should be excellent in time.
