Tasting Notes

Delicate nose of green pea and lime. Medium-bodied but intense on the palate, with fine acidity and a marked linear character showing great clarity of fruit. Mineral and tangy on the long, citric finish. Drinking Window 2018 - 2026

A subtle application of wood frames citrus, mineral reduction, sea breeze, and white flower aromas that slide into somewhat bigger and richer flavors that possess plenty of dry extract and fine intensity on the sappy and palate staining finish that is dense, powerful and complex. This is worth considering as it should drink well young yet reward a few years of bottle age too. 2019+

Behind the white flowers the fragrance there is the sweetness of white peach and tropical fruits.
The mid palate has depth, pears and nectarines with the underlying citrus at the back refreshing
the finish is long with a mineral streak. 2017-22

1er Cru located by the village of Fleys. The vines have a southern exposure and low yields, with early harvests this year to preserve freshness. The free run juice was vinified in old oak. The fermentation ran up to mid-December. The wine was then transferred to concrete tanks to be left on its lees. There is a vibrant lemon and lime blossom character to the nose here, which is expressive at this young stage. The palate is powerful for Chablis, with lemon curd and a lightly oily, chalky texture building intensity on the palate. The wine remains incredibly light-footed and mineral thanks to its refreshing acidity. A long and fine example, which continues to build complexity on the finish.
