Tasting Notes

Aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, citrus oil, oatmeal, beeswax and fresh pastry introduce the 2017 Meursault Village, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that's pure, precise and penetrating. More generous and textural than Ente's racier 2018 rendition, the 2017 is performing very well from bottle. 2022 - 2040

Intensely pure ripe citrus leaps from the glass. A subtle spice and creamy character. Notes of tangy orange. Deep, deep wine. Full of fruit but not flirtatious. Serious Meursault, not the offcuts. There is a deeply beating heart. Deep and yet mouth-wateringly fresh. Long, too. 2022 - 2030
