Tasting Notes

The Punset 2010 Barbaresco Basarin opens to a light ruby color with pretty transparency and medium-bodied elegance. The Basarin cru delivers pronounced aromas and silky tannins and you get both of those things here. The bouquet opens to licorice, tar and crème de cassis. There is a point of sour bitterness on the close.
