Chambertin, Pascale Marchand / Marchand-Tawse / Domaine Tawse 2013

Tasting Notes

The 2013 Chambertin Grand Cru, matured in a new barrel and then racked into a used, was showing slightly closed on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannin, good acidity and plenty of fresh sorbet-like notes on the finish. There is an appealing sense of energy here. Very fine.
