Sweet, mature nose. Very low key but succulent. Lively. Real personality here. Rather old fashioned but very well balanced. Minty again.
A separate vineyard adjoining (and made by) La Mission Haut Brion. "Opulent aromas of currants, chocolate and toasted oak follow through to a full-bodied palate, with velvety tannins and a fruity finish. Beautiful, rich wine." WS.
