The 2018 Riesling Kabinett Graacher Himmelreich has a lovely nose of orange blossom, peach skin and linden, just a touch of Vervane tea in the background. The palate is quite intense with impressive acidity for the vintage, harmonious and builds wonderfully towards the finish. Just utterly composed from start to finish, yet only in the opening pages of its story. Tasted at the Amos Bursary charity dinner at 67 Pall Mall.
This is very pure and offers aromas of ripe nectarines and limes with a stony edge. The palate has a beautifully fleshy feel with succulent white peaches on offer. The balance is good here, as is the freshness. Drink now.
