2024 Puech-Haut Rosé has landed. Further stocks of the new vintage of our hugely popular rosé from the south of France are now with us and ready for, hopefully, some more summer sunshine.
We have been importing Puech Haut Rosé for more than a decade now and the quality and consistency is as striking as ever. Invariably one of our top-selling wines every year, this Provençal-style rosé from the south of France is a pale, dry wine that offers great value for money. Dry, juicy, silky and fine, it will drink beautifully over the summer either on its own or on the dinner table.
As ever, we have both magnums and double magnums available.
We have tasted this multiple times now and the 2024 once again ticks all the boxes. Tamlyn Currin, for jancisrobinson.com has it right: “Silvery pink wine. Super-juicy, like a crush of blood orange, raspberries and early-season strawberries. Sharp and round at the same time. Tremendous energy. Lemongrass and basil-leaf sherbet, verbena leaf freshness. Smooth as a pebble”.
This is one of our best-sellers year-in, year-out, and with good reason. Perfect for summer drinking; there cannot be many (if any) finer rosés out there that offer better value for money.
Pale pink in colour with a cool and vibrant nose of white peach, white strawberry and raspberry. The palate is dry and juicy, layering those same stone and red fruit flavours with a juicy, crunchy and bright profile. Silky and fine with harmonising acidity, this is in keeping with the wine we have come to know and love from Puech Haut. One to keep in the fridge for any occasion and enjoy over the coming 12-18 months.
