This exhibits a very mild touch of reduction that I don't believe will last as the underlying fruit appears to be fresh and ripe. There is good energy to the relatively tightly wound middle weight flavors that possess good focus and cut on the citrusy and saline-inflected finale. This isn't dense but it's certainly pretty.
An ripe and elegant white for Savigny-Lès-Beaune, which can be quite lean and tart. This has fresh pears and some smoky lees character. Completely dry on the palate, but with mid-palate richness that suggests sweetness, then a long and intense mineral finish. Drink or hold.
