A reserved nose of very fresh notes of mineral reduction, spice, pear and citrus slides gracefully into vibrant and gorgeously well-detailed, refined and ultra-pure middle weight flavors that brim with a fine minerality. There is a saline character to the extraordinarily long, intense, impeccably well-balanced and linear finish that displays marvelous length. This is even drier than it usually is and I very much like the sense of energy here. Note that this is perhaps the most backward wine among these 2010s and will need a few years before it becomes sufficiently civilized to come out and play nicely.
Reduction presently dominates the nose but there is good freshness and plenty of verve to the gorgeously well-detailed, refined and ultra-pure middle weight flavors that brim with a fine minerality before terminating in a long, intense and impeccably well-balanced and linear finish that displays marvelous length. This is also finer than it usually is and I very much like the sense of energy here.
