Unwinding in the glass with rich aromas of cassis, cherries, grilled meats, warm spices and dark chocolate, the 2018 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is full-bodied, powerful and muscular, with a tightly wound and indeed youthfully primary core of fruit that's underpinned by a firm chassis of powdery structuring tannin and lively acids. It's a deep and complete wine, but it will require considerable patience. 2028 - 2048
