Unwinding in the glass with notes of wild berries, spices, orange rind and licorice, the 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village is medium-bodied, lively and concentrated, with lovely depth and length. One of the more reserved communal appellations in Felettig's cellar, I suspect it will flesh out with further élevage. As readers may remember, this cuvée derives largely from prime lieu-dit Aux Jachées.
