Tasting Notes

This is more elegant and restrained with cool aromas of citrus confit, shellfish and an abundance of floral wisps. There is fine richness to the seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that are not as dense or powerful though they are more refined on the discreetly stony and super-saline finish that is slightly more persistent. Lovely stuff that should also reward up to a decade of keeping. (Drink starting 2028)

Palish colour. This needs time to get over its little bit of reduction. Otherwise the nose is restrained. By contrast, there is a delicious amplitude of fruit in the mouth, tight but balanced, a wealth of intensity towards the back, maybe some liquorice, really classic.
