The 2024 Musigny Grand Cru has a much more intense and flamboyant bouquet compared to the preceding Amoureuses: raspberry and wild strawberry, blood orange and rose petals, all with superb delineation and the depth you expect from this vineyard. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannins that lend this a satin-textured mouthfeel. Beautifully balanced with very well integrated oak, there is ample depth and it feels very long on the succulent finish. Very seductive. 2028-2050
A single 450-litre barrel only. A lighter crimson. A touch of coconut but not too oaky. There is a fair weight of fruit on the palate and indeed it kicks on a little bit more at the finish, a good fruit acid balance, some tannins. Does not quite deliver the full Bonnes Mares experience. Drink from 2030-2037. Tasted Oct 2025.
