A very direct and well-structured Margaux with dark red fruits, hints of wood and fresh flowers. It’s medium- to full-bodied with firm tannins and a long and persistent finish. Drink after 2027.
The 2020 Marojallia is just as impressive as it was from barrel. Blackberry jam, gravel, menthol, crème de cassis and dark spice infuse the 2020 with tremendous depth. This plush, sumptuous Margaux is sure to be quite the crowd pleaser. (Drink between 2025-2035)
I loved the nose on the 2020 Château Marojallia, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated Margaux delivering loads of spring flowers, cassis, graphite, and classy oak-driven nuances. It shows the restrained, elegant, yet structured style of the vintage nicely and is going to benefit from 4-6 years of bottle age. I suspect it will see its 20th birthday in fine form. (Drink between 2027-2043)
Blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, softly herbal edges, rosemary, liquorice and clove. It's dark and heady, a little bit potent in terms of alcohol and tight texture, certainly not wide and expansive yet but there is a sense of styling here. Tannic and tight but this will settle. Freshness is there. (Drink between 2025-2035)
