AP: 21 04. This is still quite marked by its sulfur and only starts feebly to reveal some complex and classy notes of quince, peach, grapefruit and bakery products. The wine is rich and offers tons of fruity flavors on the palate and some apricot flower, honey and passion fruit come through in the finish (a sure sign of botrytis). Despite all this intrinsic opulence, the wine is fascinating as it remains focused and surprisingly fresh and delicate. It will require extensive aging to shed its armor of sulfur and integrate its still high level of residual sugar. But then, we would not be surprised if it may be even more impressive than it is today. 2023-2053
