Tasting Notes

This 1951 Rivesaltes from Domaine Sainte Barbe is a tawny polished mahogany colour. On the nose there are hints of salted caramel, roasted nuts, coffee and figs. The palate reveals plenty of sweet fruit with a long lingering and persistent finish. For anyone born in 1951, or not for that matter, this 60 year old wine will be an absolute treat! Fully recommended by the tasting team here at Farr Vintners. An absolute cracker. Score 18/20
