From all three plots, including 45 of their 50 rows of Echezeaux du Dessus (the produce of the other 5 being bottled separately as Cuvée 1949). Rich even purple, an attractive if discreet bouquet, then a sweet ripe dark fruit, very succulent. For the moment the detail is lacking but this will emerge. The acidity is lowish but adequate, and there is no heat expression.
