Lots of dried apple, pineapple, heather and seashell aromas with green pine needles. Full-bodied and dense with focused, layered fruit. Persistent and zesty. Oyster aftertaste. Drinkable now, but even better in three or four years.
The largest-production wine in the portfolio at approximately 2,300 cases, the 2022 Chardonnay UV-SL hints at powder-sugared brioche on the nose, backed by lemon-lime notes and some apple-ish fruit. From multiple rootstocks and clonal selections, it's full-bodied and expansive on the palate, generous, rich and long. Don't be fooled into thinking this is "just" the entry-level wine, it's serious stuff. 2024-2033.
