This is one of the most improved estates in all of Bordeaux. Now making a Saint Julien of top quality from 17 hectares of vines, planted with 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. The last few vintages have been of super-second quality and have matched or beaten the big names in blind tastings.
In 2024 this is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot. No Cabernet Franc used this year. 13% ABV. Yield 34 hl/ha. This is the first organic vintage and it will have a new label featuring the crossed keys of St Peter.

The 2024 Saint-Pierre (Saint-Julien) shows more refinement and complexity on the nose compared to its "sibling," Gloria, this year. Blackberry, crushed stone and light pressed violet aromas unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiseled tannins, cohesive and poised, with a very appealing and sustained finish. This is a great success in the context of the vintage and could well present up to 20 years of drinking pleasure. 2029 - 2050
Mid-deep ruby colour. Perfumed in fruit and wood smoke on the nose - this has the sheen of glossy oak but it is not overdone. The palate has juicy red fruit at its core, showing cherry and red plum. The texture is crunchy but not dry, the tannins present but ripe. Slick with oak on the palate as with the nose, this is sweet and toasty, modern but well made.
Deep garnet-purple colored. Fresh blackberries and raspberries jump from the glass with touches of red roses, Sichuan pepper, and tilled soil. The light to medium-bodied palate is refreshing and lightly chewy with an herbal lift on the finish.
This is easily one of the better St Juliens of the vintage, filled with raspberry, plum and damson fruits, beautiful white pepper and sage spice, good lift and slate texture, really enjoyable. Vanessa and Jean Triaud owners, 29 hl/ha, first year organic certified.
The 2024 Saint-Pierre (Saint-Julien) is a potent, brooding wine. Blackberry jam, graphite, lavender, cloves, licorice and menthol are amplified in a dramatic, statuesque Saint-Julien that is all intrigue. The 2024 possesses notable depth and substance, but it's an imposing wine that will require cellaring. Tasted two times. Drink: 2029-2039
Good depth for the vintage, showing blackcurrants, dark chocolate and pine cones. Firm and fine-grained with medium to full body. Impressive length.
