Tasting Notes

The 2021 Echézeaux Grand Cru has quite an intense blackberry, blood orange and slightly charry bouquet, fine definition, perhaps just missing that essence of Pinoté. The palate is medium-bodied with quite gritty tannins, fine acidity, though the oak does feel rather vocal and occludes terroir expression on the finish. (Drink between 2025-2040)
