The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru has a potent nose of lime cordial, green apple and orange pith, quite extrovert for a Pucelles though well defined. The palate is rounded on the entry, cohesive with unexpected tropical notes on the mid-palate. Could it benefit from a bit more acidic drive, more mineralité on the finish? It is a quite delicious Puligny, one that will be difficult to resist in its youth though it is not the best Les Pucelles in this vintage. 2027-2042
