Now under new ownership, great efforts are being made to return Gruaud to its former position as a leading second growth. This is a good wine, better than 1993 and 1994 and may be even 1995. Despite the price coming down 25% from the dizzy heights of 1997 it still looks a bit expensive when compared to the, still available, 1996. FV 15.5.
