I prefer the nose to this than the CSJ, with lovely ripe Morello cherry, raspberry leaf and undergrowth aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grippy tannins, nice weight and spiciness with a lively, espresso-tinged finish that displays impressive persistency. For me in 2010 this outshines the Clos Saint Jacques. Tasted January 2012.
