Like the Fontenys this is overtly floral in character with its elegant array of ripe red and dark currant, Asian-tea and interesting smoky hints. There is outstanding richness and mid-palate density to the tautly muscular yet refined medium-bodied flavors that exude plenty of minerality on the balanced and hugely long finale that is shaped by fine-grained tannins.
