Tasting Notes

The 2019 Ceretto Barbaresco Asili has a creamy nose with white chocolate and oak-spice notes at first then it develops flinty, mineral, ripe strawberry aromas. There is a very nice harmony between the fruity mid-palate with some concentration and the lingering, fine gravelly-textured tannins and balancing freshness. It is a super-elegant wine with some exuberance. Wait one to two years and drink up to 15-20. A finely woven, integrated, juicy and savory wine.
