Tasting Notes

Based on the 2022 vintage and enhanced by 50% reserve wines aged in a perpetual reserve initiated in 2004, Sélèque’s NV Extra Brut Solessence exudes a bouquet of ripe citrus, peach and freshly baked bread. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, broad and textural, with a generous core of fruit underpinned by ripe yet lively acidity, exhibiting a phenolic structure and an assertive bitterness on the finish. Vinified in equal parts stainless steel and oak, it was disgorged in August 2024 with a dosage of 1.5 grams per liter. The blend comprises nearly equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, with an additional 10% Pinot Noir. 2025 - 2032
