The 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Planchots is lovely, bursting with aromas of raspberries, cinnamon, mossy soil tones and dried flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with a broad, textural attack, mouthwatering acids and good depth and volume at the core. This is a dramatic, head-turning Savigny village that's well worth seeking out.
