The first to be picked. 4 barrels made. A fullish crimson colour, perhaps a fraction volatile on the nose. Pure red fruit, strawberries in particular, though without too much cream. A good fresh acidity beneath, attractive more than compelling though certainly persistent. Drink from 2026-2032.
