**Note: from a tiny .10 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines located in Mazis-Haut that normally produce one barrel**
An especially spicy nose of black cherry, earth and the hallmark sauvage character precedes seductively textured, powerful and focused big-boned and ultra-serious flavors that explode on the hugely long and palate drenching finish. This seems to have endless reserves of tannin-buffering sap, which again is a good thing as the supporting structure is particularly firm. Once again, a lot of patience will be required to see this at its best.
