Strong reduction completely hides the fruit but there is excellent verve to the rich, intense and quite round medium-bodied flavors that possess a velvety texture on the firm, dusty and impressively persistent finish. This is a relatively big and robust example of the appellation and clearly built to age for 20 years or more. Excellent potential here.
