The 2022 Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru is another new wine from Jobard on the red side of things. Touches of wild mint and Provençal herbs infuse the well-defined red berry fruit, gaining harmony in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and a silver bead of acidity, elegant in style with a precise finish that deserves a round of applause. The terroir really comes through here. Drink 2025-2040.
First year after replanting, three little ouvrées, 400 litres made. Surprising depth of colour here. A delicious intensity of fruit on the palate, dark raspberry, with not too much structure just enough to keep it all in balance. Will give pleasure for sure. Drink from 2027-2033.
