An imperial purple colour. Very lightly reductive which I don’t mind at all. There is a wonderful weight of fruit on the nose, dark cherry and raspberry, this wine looks as though it is really going to work. A little bit chunky at the moment but I think that is just a question of super concentration. Younger vines 40 hl/ha and pretty ripe. Drink from 2029-2037.
