Layered and refined, the 2021 Pinot Noir Amphora Ribbon Ridge pours deep ruby hue and offers aromas of incense, cardamom, wild raspberry, and toasted earth. Meaty in its texture, with ripe tannins, it displays mineral richness in its notes of iron and game, while remaining fresh throughout, with a cracked pepper spice on the finish. The structure is more pronounced, and it has great, balanced length. I like where it is now, but will need time in cellar to soften and reveal its savory undertones. Drink 2025-2035.
