Tasting Notes

A blend of three parcels of 45-year-old vines, the 2023 Maranges Vieilles Vignes was vinified with 25% whole cluster. This has a bright bouquet with blackberry and crushed stone scents, touches of tobacco and damp loam emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied and quite fresh with supple tannins, gentle grip and a dab of white pepper on the slightly dry finish. Enjoy it over five or six years. (Drink between 2026-2034)
