This is an absolutely stunning Auslese. It has one hell of a nose: fresh apricot, white peach, strawberry sorbet, crushed stoned and Seville orange just rocket from the glass. Wonderful delineation: this is an aromatic profile in HD. The palate has pitch-perfect balance with noticeable acidity, the Auslese seeming to shimmer in the mouth, exquisite sense of tension and focus with astounding purity towards the apricot-tinged finish.
