Tasting Notes

Rich and vibrant and this too is a good deal more forward than is typical for this wine. Wonderfully complex, rather supple flavors that aren't really in full song yet though this is undeniably of grand cru quality. Not as elegant as the Chapelle or Griotte but definitely bigger, richer with a long, firm finish. All of these positive attributes duly noted, this also lacks a bit of freshness and while the secondary aromatics are not as developed as in the Chambertin, it is potentially worrisome.
