Tasting Notes

A sleeper vintage, the dense ruby/purple-colored, extremely concentrated 1993 offers a gloriously heady concoction of melted licorice, seaweed, black cherry liqueur, and smoke. It is a candidate for the "wine of the vintage" in Chateauneuf du Pape.
