A wonderfully seductive and intensely spicy yet restrained nose of mostly black berry fruit, plum and currant notes trimmed in subtle wood dissolve into rich, generous and full-bodied flavors that are beautifully balanced on the classy, pure and dusty finish where the tannins are also notably firm but quite fine. Absolutely terrific with perfect balance and more refinement than usual.
