Tasting Notes

A ripe and highly complex nose of floral, earth, spice and discreet wood notes all add breadth to the very fresh dark berry fruit aromas. There is good volume to the lush, round and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess a moderately firm tannic spine as well as excellent depth and length. This should require 6 to 9 years of cellar time but be more than capable of holding for years to come.

Good medium red. Reduced nose offers cherry, earth, smoke and flinty minerality. Creamy and silky in the mouth, but given shape and lift by lovely vinosity. Not yet complex but builds slowly in the mouth and finishes with subtle length. The suave tannins are nicely buffered by fruit. This round, rather full wine has the balance and stuffing to support a slow evolution in bottle.
