An elegant, pure, cool and dazzlingly complex nose is comprised of white rose, acacia blossom, lemon zest and plenty of mineral reduction character. There is outstanding precision and almost painful intensity to the tautly muscular flavors that positively vibrate with underlying tension before culminating in a hugely long finish where a touch of wood is also in evidence. As the best examples of Perrières always are, this is a perfect blend of power and finesse. Lafon has made many a fine example of this wine and the 2010 version will only add to that legacy.
**Note: from two different parcels, a large one with 45+ year old vines that is only 50 yards from Genevrières and a second, smaller one with 15+ year old vines just above Charmes**
