Morey Saint Denis Tres Girard, Cecile Tremblay 2009

This is more expressive with a perfumed nose of red currant, iron-infused earth and a slightly animale note that can also be found on the generous, supple and concentrated flavors that possess excellent mid-palate concentration and a sophisticated mouth feel on the impressively persistent finish. This is not an elegant wine but I like the frank character and overall sense of balance. Worth a look. Drink: 2016+
