Gevrey Chambertin Cazetiers, Lucien Le Moine 2010

Tasting Notes

A gentle hint of wood sets off riper and much more animale aromas of stone, fur, game and pungent Gevrey-style earth on the ripe cassis and black cherry scents. There is a wonderful sense of verve to the overtly powerful, intense and well-muscled flavors that culminate in a finish that offers a distinct contradiction as it's silky, refined and explosively long. A terrific example of the appellation that is forthrightly built to cellar.
