Subtle but not invisible wood frames relatively high-toned red berry fruit, especially red currant, that introduces delicious, round and unusually fine middle weight flavors thanks to the refined tannins and impressively long finish. The '09 is the best example of this wine that I have ever tasted from cask chez Chevillon.
