Mazis Chambertin, Dupont Tisserandot 2010

Tasting Notes

**Note: from parcels totaling .35 ha in both Haut and Bas**
Soft wood frames the overtly ripe and distinctly animale aromas of mostly red berry fruit and wet stone. The stony, serious, concentrated and openly powerful medium weight plus flavors possess wonderful delineation on the balanced and hugely long finish. While clearly taut and muscular this is actually on the refined side for the appellation and while it should be approachable young it should also age and improve effortlessly for the next 15 years or so. This is a stunner of a Mazis and highly recommended.
