A pungently earthy mélange of red currant, wild dark berries and spice hints merges into extract-rich, intense and palate coating medium-bodied flavors that are supported by firm but not hard tannins that evidence mild rusticity. There is very good power and excellent length with sufficient structure as to probably require up to a decade to resolve it. A classic Nuits. Drink: 2019+
